MIAMI (WSVN) - Nasty weather packed a punch in Broward County, Tuesday, but Tampa and Orlando experienced some pretty wicked weather as well.

Most of the damage occurred in Central Florida. Officials said 20 homes were damaged as severe rainfall and a possible tornado ripped through Vero Beach. Some of it was caught on camera.

Two Vero Beach residents witnessed Mother Nature putting on quite the show. “It was forming right over us. We could see it coming right out of the sky,” one of them said. “I was out here with my boss, and he was screaming for everybody to get inside and take cover.”

Multiple funnel clouds were spotted in a storm system moving across the Sunshine State, Tuesday.

The harsh winds caused multiple vehicles to flip over on their sides and even severely damaged one woman’s trailer. “I think I’m going to be Dorothy and Toto. Oh, my God, terrifying,” she said. “Absolutely terrifying ’cause I heard the crash of that one falling down, but I didn’t know what it was. Just that our whole RV was shaking back and forth.”

In St. Lucie County, residents saw funnel clouds as well. A couple even recorded cellphone video of a funnel cloud from their car. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” the videographer said.

The rain fell in droves as well. Many residents posted pictures on Twitter that showed flooded streets, cars stuck and some even overturned.

One street was so flooded that a river of water ran through it, and a canoe became the best, and only, mode of transportation.

Others took their own video of the funnel clouds, including a woman driving on Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County.

Another man narrated what he saw as, fittingly, a country song about the wind and rain played in the background. “I’ve gotta get home before this thing blows me away,” he said.
