PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - Samsung’s battery problem is heading into a courtroom, and a South Florida man is behind the suit.
Jonathan Strobel lives in Palm Beach Gardens and filed a lawsuit against Samsung after his Galaxy Note 7, which was recalled due to battery issues, exploded in his pocket while at work.
The explosion reportedly caused third-degree burns.
Strobel is suing for $15,000.
This is the first lawsuit to be filed due to the Note 7 battery issue.
