MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) — Police are investigating several crime scenes after, they said, shots were fired, a man was discovered injured and multiple arrests were made in four separate incidents in Miami Gardens, all within the span of an hour, Tuesday afternoon.

According to Miami Gardens Police, the man suffered a visible head injury after he was grazed by a bullet. He was located near the Sunoco gas station at Northwest 27th Avenue and 185th Street.

This man was tended to by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Miami Gardens Police officers and is under investigation. 7News cameras caught the man with a large, white bandage around his head.

A member of Miami-Dade Schools Police was also on the scene.

Moments prior, a lockdown was temporarily put in place at Miami Carol City High School after reports arose of shots being fired, according to the school board. Police said shots were fired near the school at a Farm Stores, near Northwest 183rd Street and 82nd Avenue. Multiple shell casings remained visible along the streets as of 4 p.m.

Before these incidents, police were seen escorting a woman in handcuffs from a home located along Northwest 192nd Street and 34th Avenue. Then, one street over, at Northwest 191st Street and 34th Court, police officers in riot gear surrounded a home. Moments later, several people with their hands placed in the air exited the home.

Police are investigating whether any of the four scenes are related.
