KEY LARGO, FLA. (WSVN) - A boatyard went up in flames in Key Largo, Saturday night.

The fire broke out at a marina, resulting in the destruction of many of the docked boats.

The blaze even caused U.S. 1 to be shut down in both directions as fire rescue crews stretched a fire hose across the highway to reach a water source.

State officials said the boatyard has been accused of price gouging in the wake of Hurricane Irma, prompting a visit by investigators last week.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
