MIAMI (WSVN) - Sergio’s Restaurants are offering free cafecitos following the death of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
All Sergio’s Restaurants, announced Saturday, that they will be offering a free cafecito to customers.
The restaurant also announced a Cuba Libre celebration for Castro’s death. To mark the event, Sergio’s Pembroke Pines and Doral locations will also offer free Cuba Libre cocktails to adults who purchase an entree.

“Many Americans whose families came to America looking for freedom from Cuba’s dictatorship awoke today with hope for the future,” Sergio’s Restaurants CEO Carlos Gazitua said. “There are certainly tense times ahead for our families and friends in Cuba, but we want to invite all our customers to celebrate their hopes and dreams for Cuba with a Cuba Libre Celebration at Sergio’s, where so many Cuban-American families have dined together for decades.”
