ORLANDO, Fla. (WSVN) — A Central Florida dog who’s feeling the Christmas spirit finally got a meet-and-greet with the big guy from the North Pole.
Before that meeting, Kya was photographed smiling with her plush Santa toy she got last Christmas.
Her owners said she has been obsessed with the toy ever since she got it. When they heard Santa was coming to a nearby mall in Orlando this year — they knew they had to take Kya to meet him.
The meet-n-greet was a major success, as Kya was thrilled to meet Mr. Claus.
Social media loved it, too. A candid picture posted to Twitter already has nearly 150,000 likes.
