MIAMI (WSVN) - Attendees of the Selena Gomez concert on Saturday night have been advised of expected road closures and fewer parking options near AmericanAirlines Arena.
Due to construction in Downtown Miami, multiple parking lots in the area have been eliminated and attendees have been told to give themselves extra time to get to the area and park. Parking on-site at the arena opens at 5 p.m. and is available on a first come, first served basis. Limited pre-paid valet parking is also available through Ticketmaster.
Public parking in garages and lots are available at:
- Bayside Marketplace (401 Biscayne Boulevard)
- Annex Garage (255 NE 1st Street)
- Miami Parking Authority’s College Garage (190 NE 3rd Street)
- Omni Garage (1645 Biscayne Boulevard).
Northeast Seventh Street and Northeast Ninth Street are expected to be closed to drivers. AmericanAirlines Arena also encouraged the use of public transportation, such as the Metrorail, Metrobus, Metromover and Miami Trolley.
