The Rev. Vernon Gillum, a local pastor, said his daughter, 20-year-old Verneisha Gillum, was among those injured. On Sunday, he spoke out against gun violence. “This is an infectious disease that we have to find a way to remedy,” he said, “so that we’re no longer robbing our kids’ opportunity to grow up and to enjoy life and to fulfill those dreams and goals that many of us shared as little kids.”

All four injured victims are expected to be OK.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Sunday night, Miami-Dade Police announced they have added a $10,000 reward, in addition to the $3,000 already offered by Crime Stoppers, for information leading to an arrest.
