DORAL, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are investigating a possible connection between two jewelry store robberies in South Florida.

Surveillance video captured a man posing as a customer at the Mayor’s Jewelers at Miami International Mall, Nov. 21.

A clerk handed him two diamond rings worth more than $50,000, and then the man took off running with them.

Police said it may be the same guy who targeted a Zales at Westfield Broward Mall in Plantation, Nov. 14.

If you have any information on these robberies, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
