MIAMI (WSVN) - Crowds gathered around for a preview of a pop-up outdoor gym that opened Tuesday by the Brickell Metrorail Station.
The event was just a preview of the upcoming Underline Project, which will transform 10 miles of land below Miami’s Metrorail into a linear park.
The crowds weren’t the only ones excited about the upcoming park. “This is a sneak peek of what’s coming to the Underline Brickell Backyard,” said Meg Daly, Founder of Friends of The Underline. “This piece will be one-mile long. It will be a one-mile park that’s part of a one mile park and trail.”
The Underline is expected to be completed in six years.
