MIAMI (WSVN) - Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to abduct a 12-year-old girl, Wednesday morning, in Miami.
Miami Police said the girl was walking on Northwest 67th Street towards Seventh Avenue, at around 7 a.m., when the man pulled up in his car, made a U-turn, showed the girl money and asked if she wanted it.
The girl remembered that her mother had given her a cellphone and grabbed it from her backpack. She told the man she was calling 911, and the man then sped away, according to police.
Police have spoken to the girl and released the following sketch of the man.
The man was driving a black vehicle with dark windows, according to police.
The girl is safe.
