WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Passengers were forced to evacuate after a plane in West Palm Beach experienced a fuel leak as the plane was taxiing.
Passengers reported a loud noise and harsh fumes before being calmly evacuated from the aircraft.
“It was very professional,” said one person. “They knew there was a problem, and they shut the engines down, and they said emergency evacuate. The doors came open, the slides went out, and we were out of the plane.”
Passengers exited the aircraft in an orderly fashion. No injuries were reported.
