MIAMI (WSVN) - A South Florida man was taken to the hospital after, officials said, he was struck by a car while crossing the street in Miami.
The 55-year-old was hit as he walked along Northwest 54th Street and 17th Avenue, Tuesday.
The driver stayed on the scene and was treated by Miami Fire Rescue.
The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center with serious leg injuries.
