NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - More than 500 students are now being led down a path to success by local role models.
The 5,000 Role Models of Excellence Project held their regional tie tying ceremony at Miami Central Senior High School, in Northwest Miami-Dade, Tuesday night.
During the ceremony, a red necktie was placed around the neck of each boy by a male role model. By doing so, the men commit to helping and guiding their students as they grow into men.
