FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - Now that South Florida is in the clear from Hurricane Matthew’s path, the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale is back open for business, and inviting locals to de-stress and explore their exhibits at a discounted price.

The museum will have admission set at $10 a person, compared to their normal rate of $16 per person. IMAX admission is priced between $6-10.

The offer is only valid on Friday as part of their “Hurricane Matthew Stress Relief Day.”

Locals will have the opportunity to experience all sorts of interactive exhibits. You can even experience their very own hurricane force winds in the storm center, take a ride on an Everglades Airboat Adventure, watch, listen and learn from science demonstrations, hang out with a variety of animals, or simply immerse yourself in a story high film adventure in their IMAX 3D Theatre.
