MIAMI (WSVN) - She said, ‘Yes!’ After a Miami Police Department officer received the “Officer of the Month” award, he took the opportunity on stage to “pop the question” to his girlfriend.
On Thursday, Officer Ortega received the Officer of the Month award. After thanking his department during the award ceremony, he made a special thank you to his girlfriend.
Ortega then called his girlfriend, who was sitting in the audience, to come up on stage.
“She’s been the backbone to not only my career, but also in life,” he said. “Rosie, can I have you come up for a second?”
