MIAMI (WSVN) - A death investigation is underway after, police said, a man stabbed his mother and her boyfriend overnight, killing the boyfriend.
According to officials, it all started with a domestic dispute inside an apartment, early Tuesday morning, located along Northwest Second Avenue and 64th Street, in Miami.
Investigators said the mother and her boyfriend attempted to flee the apartment, but the son chased them and stabbed them.
Both victims were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The condition of the accused stabber’s mother is unknown. The mother’s boyfriend succumbed to his injuries.
The subject was taken into custody.
Police have not yet released the names of the people involved.
