(WSVN) — There are now more than 16,800 cases of the coronavirus in Florida, with 371 deaths.
As of 6 p.m., Thursday, the Florida Department of Health reported 16,826 confirmed cases in the state. Of these cases, 16,323 are Florida residents and 503 are non-residents.
There are 5,898 confirmed cases in Miami-Dade and 2,480 cases in Broward.
The total number of cases in Palm Beach County reached 1,333, and 53 cases have been reported in Monroe County.
