MIAMI (WSVN) - Miami-Dade County has partnered with the Waze traffic app to help provide drivers with real time traffic updates.
The app’s updates will include road closures, down traffic lights and provide alternate routes for drivers.
“This is part of the solutions that we have to alleviate our traffic congestion in Miami-Dade County,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez said. “The great thing about it too is that we’re gonna get this data so that we can make smarter decisions in the future about where we’re gonna put traffic lights, how long they’re gonna be, and also where we need to make improvements on our roadways.”
