MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - The Miami Beach Fire Department unveiled its first ever fire boat, Tuesday.
The boat is equipped with sonar, thermal imaging and a massive sea pump to battle fires.

Officials said it will help cut down on response times for water emergencies in Miami Beach.
The department previously relied on the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County’s rescue boats.
