FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are searching for the people responsible for a shooting that claimed the life of a man in the parking lot of the Tri-Rail station in Fort Lauderdale, Monday night.

Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene in the area of 200 S.W. 21st Terrace, just under the Interstate 95 bridge leading to Broward Boulevard, at around 9:30 p.m.

Police said the victim was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said they are looking for possibly two subjects in connection to the shooting.

A Tri-Rail spokesperson said the incident did not impact service, Monday night, and is not expected to affect service on Tuesday morning. She also said it’s too early to tell whether or not the victim was a Tri-Rail passenger.
