NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A man was taken to the hospital after, police said, he was shot in the buttocks in Northwest Miami-Dade, Friday night.
Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the shooting on the 3200 block of Northwest 48th Street in the Brownsville neighborhood, at around 8:15 p.m.
Officials said the victim, a man in his early 40s, was conscious and breathing when he was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police have not given any details about a subject in the shooting. The motive remains under investigation.
