HIALEAH, FLA. (WSVN) - A man involved in a confrontation with a Hialeah Police officer appeared in bond court, Monday.
Elvis Jose Perez faces several charges, including battery on a police officer. He was granted $10,000 bond.
Police said Perez, a psychiatric patient, got into a physical struggle with the officer at Larkin Palm Springs Hospital in Hialeah, Sunday night.
The officer’s gun discharged by accident, grazing the law enforcer in the right thigh. He was treated and released.
