MIAMI (WSVN) - Miami Police have arrested a man in the case of a mother shot multiple times.

According to police, 30-year-old Terrell Jimmel Robinson was arrested Friday and is in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service after being wanted for attempted murder.

The incident occurred between 10 and 11 p.m., Monday, at a home located at 450 N.W. 73rd Terrace.

One neighbor spoke to 7News about what happened after she heard the multiple gunshots. “I waited till the gunshots was over,” Sheffield said. “I heard her kids screaming in the back about their mama, so I ran outside and looked over and saw the woman on the ground, and I just stood over her and prayed over her and called 911 to get us some help.”

Police believe Robinson is responsible for shooting Shaqueenia A. Hanna nearly a dozen times, Monday.

She remains hospitalized in unknown condition.
