NORTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) - A North Miami man is behind bars Saturday after accusations of stabbing an IHOP employee.

Gene Henry, 35, has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing bodily harm. He is accused of stabbing an IHOP employee, Friday.

Henry reportedly ate at the restaurant located on 127th Street and Biscayne Boulevard and left, before returning with the claim he had been poisoned. Police then said Henry walked up to his server and stabbed them.

The server was taken to Aventura Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Henry is being held on a $10,000 bond.
