MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - Miami Gardens officials have announced, Monday, that a neighborhood park is getting a new addition.
A brand new pool is now coming to the Bunche Park neighborhood.
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place at West Bunche Park Drive, and officials said, it’s the perfect time to upgrade the current facility to a more modern look. “We’re going to build a whole new structure here,” said Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert, “a whole new pool that’s going to be the centerpiece for an extraordinary neighborhood.”
According to officials, demolition will happen in the next few months, and construction will officially begin in 2017.
