A City of Miami Police Officer earned a high honor, Monday.
The Biscayne Bay Kiwanis Club named Miami Police Detective David San Juan “Police Officer of the Year.”
Friends, family and other officers gathered for a special luncheon in honor of the law enforcer.
San Juan was among four officers nominated for the award after being recognized for his outstanding performance.
