MIAMI (WSVN) - A South Florida organization is lending a helping hand for three families in need of a home.

Habitat for Humanity teamed up with Bank of America to dedicate three new homes to the deserving families in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

A group of employee volunteers rolled up their sleeves to frame walls and complete other vital tasks for the Miami home.

Meanwhile in Fort Lauderdale, volunteers worked throughout the week to build a duplex for two new homeowners.

Everyone involved said the hard work was all worth it. “We believe in the community, giving back, revitalizing the community, vitalizing the neighborhood, so very involved. This is where we live. This is our city,” said volunteer George Bermudez.
