PINECREST, FLA. (WSVN) - What’s better than puppies coming to campus during finals week? Puppies AND kittens! On Wednesday, Gulliver Preparatory brought several kittens and puppies to their campus in Pinecrest to help students de-stress from finals.
Finals week is a very stressful time for high school students across the country, which is why Gulliver’s counseling and activities departments came together to bring several kittens and puppies to campus for students to pet and play with during their lunch break.
According to the school, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has evidence that social interaction between humans and dogs may lower stress levels in both the human and the dog.
