OPA-LOCKA, FLA. (WSVN) - The former manager of Opa-locka has surrendered in the wake of a City Hall scandal.

David Chiverton faced a judge Monday on bribery charges.

He resigned from office in July.

Dozens of FBI agents raided City Hall in March, following a two-year investigation that found Chiverton and other officials allegedly pocketed thousands of dollars in illegal cash payments from local business owners.
