ORLANDO, FLA. (WSVN) - A Florida Highway Patrol trooper in Orlando rescued a American bald eagle on the Florida turnpike — and the heroic rescue was caught on video.

The trooper took to Twitter to share the story, Wednesday. He captioned the post, “From protecting our citizens, to saving our nations bird🇺🇸. Trooper on turnpike saved this beauty after it was hit by a car. #Trooperlife.”
