MIAMI (WSVN) - Florida Gov. Rick Scott has announced that the unemployment rate in the Miami area has gone down.
Scott said over 14,000 new jobs have been added to the private sector, and he’s glad to see businesses helping improve the job market since last month.
“We’ve added almost 18,000 more jobs in the month of September,” he said. “We’re now up in five years and nine months to 122,500 jobs in a very short period of time, so congratulations to everyone.”
Scott said he supports Donald Trump because he believes Trump would create more jobs than Hillary Clinton.
