Police said an officer was dragged several feet after he confronted a suspect in Miami Lakes.
Officials said a man attempted to open a bank account with a fake ID. An officer confronted him as he took off in his car, resulting in the officer being dragged several feet and suffering road rash.
The incident happened at the TD bank on Northwest 57th Avenue and 163rd Street in Miami Lakes, Wednesdays afternoon.
