FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - A fire trapped three workers on the roof of a Fort Lauderdale business, Thursday, before they were rescued.

Authorities said the roofing crew’s tar pot sparked the fire. A nearby work truck also went up in flames.

A 7News viewer filmed the fire near East Oakland Park Boulevard and 20th Avenue.

Firefighters rescued the three workers. No one was hurt.

Crews managed to put out the fire before it spread into the building.
