MIAMI (WSVN) - A father and son are now behind bars for allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle into a police cruiser in Miami, Monday night.
According to police, Carlos Alberto-Valladares Jr., and his father Carlos Valladares, were arrested for allegedly crashing a stolen car into a police cruiser, injuring a police trainee.
Alberto-Valladares Jr. was charged with battery on an officer after injuring a police trainee in a crash.
His father was arrested for allegedly having marijuana in his pockets. He has been charged with possession of marijuana.
The incident occurred along Northwest 18th Avenue and 46th Street.
