HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (WSVN) - A woman driving through Hollywood, Friday, found her car stuck in a hole that opened up in the road after a water main broke.
The driver said she didn’t see the hole near Griffin Road and 38th Avenue because water was flowing out of it. She said once she got stuck, she panicked.
“I was shaking, didn’t know what to do,” Aviva Sela said. “My car is like halfway in. It was very scary, but a couple minutes I was in the car, I didn’t know what to do. I got out of the back seat. Thank God.”
Her car was pulled out of the hole and towed away. Public works crews have stopped the water flow and are working to repair the hole.
