LAUDERDALE LAKES, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida driver was transported to the hospital after crashing into a home in Lauderdale Lakes, Monday evening.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the accident along the 4200 block of Northwest 47th Terrace, just before 6 p.m.
Officials said the driver somehow lost control of the minivan, taking out some landscaping and colliding into a concrete railing before striking the front porch of the house.
The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Officials are attempting to determine whether or not the structure is safe to inhabit.
