ORLANDO, FLA. (WSVN) - Florida restaurants are coming together to donate time and money to tragedy relief efforts in Orlando.

The event, “Dine Out for Orlando United,” will be held on June 30 and is led by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association in partnership with Visit Florida. All proceeds, according to the event’s website, will be donated to the OneOrlando Fund, which provides a way to respond to local communities and their needs.

Guests can dine at any of the participating restaurants and have the option to make direct donations. Employees can either volunteer their time by working or donate a portion of their tips.

Restaurants are able to participate on June 30 by:

  • Donating a portion of total sales
  • Making a donation for every guest served
  • Collecting donations received from guests and staff
  • Donating a portion of total profits
  • Making a donation for every sale of a specific item
  • Identifying a set donation amount that’s right for you.
