ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — An Orlando woman has been charged after authorities say she was caught trying to hire someone to kill her ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says in a news release that 25-year-old Anielle Madison was arrested Wednesday and charged with solicitation to premeditated murder.

An undercover agent contacted Madison on June 10 after deputies say they received information that Madison was looking to hire a hitman.

Officials say Madison and the agent met, during which time Madison agreed to pay $2,000 for killing the unidentified victim. Deputies say she provided the agent with the victim’s description and address.

Authorities contacted the victim, who said Madison constantly called the ex-girlfriend even though the couple didn’t wish to speak with Madison.

It isn’t immediately clear if she has an attorney.
