MIAMI (WSVN) - The Design and Architecture High School in Miami was placed on lockdown temporarily as police searched for a robbery suspect in the area.

According to Miami Police, someone robbed a victim near the school and fled, Tuesday afternoon, sometime around 1:30 p.m. About a half hour later, police lifted the lockdown.

A perimeter was set up in the area of Northeast Second Avenue to Federal Highway and between 36th and 39th streets, and the school board ordered the lockdown as  precaution.

It remains unknown if a suspect was taken into custody.
