KEY LARGO, FLA. (WSVN) - Six people were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard near John Pennekamp Park after their vessel capsized.

The Coast Guard received a distress call, around noon time Saturday, from a person that was hanging on to the capsized vessel. With the assistance of a good Samaritan the Coast Guard was able to rescue six people in total from the water and the hull of the capsized vessel.

According to the Coast Guard, three of the boaters suffered minor injuries.
