DORAL, FLA. (WSVN) - A car fire shut down all of the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike near Northwest 106th Avenue, during the Monday afternoon commute.
The car caught fire at around 5 p.m., and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene, bringing traffic in the area to a complete halt.
They quickly put the fire out, but it took about an hour before the scene was cleared and traffic returned to normal.
