DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - A man was caught on camera breaking into a doughnut shop looking for more than sweets.
The man smashed through the front door of the Dunkin’ Donuts with a hammer and a pry bar, around 5 a.m., on May 22. The burglary happened at the store location along South Powerline Road and Southwest 11th Street.
According to surveillance, the man pried open the registers and stole cash from a back office. He then ran out to a getaway car that was waiting for him.
Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying both people involved.
