NORTH BAY VILLAGE, FLA. (WSVN) - A 5-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning in North Bay Village, Thursday night.
Police and fire rescue crews were dispatched to the scene along East Treasure Drive, at around 7:45 p.m. According to North Bay Village Police, the near drowning was an accident.
Rescue officials said the boy was breathing on his own while paramedics transported him to an area hospital. He is expected to be OK.
