OFF MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) — A family are safe on dry land thanks to Miami-Dade Fire rescuers who saved them from their sinking boat.
The rescuers responded to the scene in the Intracoastal Waterway, near 79th Street, at around 6 p.m., Wednesday.
Crews found a family, including two adults and two children, on a boat that was taking on water. They tried to bail out the water on their own until rescue crews assisted them.
The boat was later towed to a marina.
No one was hurt.
