7’s own Belkys Nerey was among five outstanding South Florida women singled out for recognition at a ceremony held Saturday.
The first annual Heart in Hand Awards honored the recipients for their work in the community and raised money for a good cause.
The ceremony brought together some of Miami’s most influential people to raise awareness for No More Tears, a nonprofit aimed at helping victims of abuse and human trafficking.
