MIAMI SHORES, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are searching for the man who was caught on camera breaking into a parked SUV in Miami Shores before taking off with the vehicle owner’s backpack, Saturday.
Surveillance video captured the subject peeking into the vehicle outside All Wireless and Repairs, located at 8955 Biscayne Blvd.
The burglar is then seen shattering a window and helping himself to a backpack on the passenger seat.
The victim, an international student living in South Florida, said the broken window is the least of his problems. “The most important [thing], was there was nothing of value in the bag, but it did have my passport and all of my documents,” said Nick Koieaka, “so this is the biggest problem I have now.”
