SWEETWATER, Fla. (WSVN) — Santa Claus showed off his American Sign Language skills at Dolphin Mall when he met with dozens of hearing impaired children, Tuesday.

Signing Santa hosted the holiday rendezvous that gave the deaf or hard of hearing visitors a chance to share their Christmas wish lists with Old St. Nick.

Speaking through an interpreter, Signing Santa co-chair Andy Altmann said this is the 17th time they have hosted the event, one that is made possible thanks to generous donations. “And all of this depends from donations, so please, please, it would be great to have anything that we can get as donations to sponsor this event to make our students’ dreams come true,” he said.

The children also had a chance to play games at Santa’s Flight Academy and snapped fun photos with him.
