DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - A Deerfield Beach man noticed a man stealing his saw, Sunday night, and what he did after may help police locate this “tool thief.”
According to Paulino Mejia Gutierrez, he noticed somebody walking down the 4000 block of Northwest Third Avenue with his concrete saw. Gutierrez decided to take out his phone and hit record.
Once Gutierrez confronted the suspect, he gave him back his saw but not before trying to steal his phone. Then, the suspect took off on foot.
Gutierrez said many of his tools had been stolen over the past few weeks.
