COCONUT CREEK, FLA. (WSVN) - Nearly two dozen staffers at a Coconut Creek Police facility were relocated after some of them were sickened by a foul odor, Tuesday morning.

Hazmat crews responded to the emergency communication center on West Copans Road and Lyons Road, just after 10 a.m.

Officials said the burning smell caused workers to complain of headaches and nausea. Six of them were taken to the hospital.

The remaining staffers were relocated to a building in Sunrise.

Crews have been unable to determine the source of the smell.
